To Twilight

The best way to test what one truly feel
or whether one truly cherish something
is to seduce the one from it, or
try destroying it, perhaps
by others, and also could be by self.

I remembered that evening,
twilight on everything:
tickets in front of the concert hall,
skirt tinge with the glow,
contented nod,
my observing mind.

I saw her dogtrotting
away in such trust and magnanimity,
and my feeling of deserving this ----
a true bliss ----
is what I won't
I simply guess
